Annika attended the Girl Scout twilight camp this week. The theme was the Wizard of Oz. Her camp name was Toto the Dog. Anjali volunteered for one evening. Anjali’s nickname was “Diamond”.
One of the activities was to craft “swaps” and then trade them with their friends. Note all of the pinned on swaps on their hats. We made 100 swaps and traded with all of the girls that attended the week long camp.
This is Miss Annika with her best friend Samantha showing some “attitude”.
Hi! I am searching the internet for camp ideas. I was just asked to help plan a girl’s camp for next summer. We have chosen the same theme of “There’s No Place Like Home”. I wonder what swaps are. We don’t do that here, but it looks like you bring things to trade? How does that work? What other fun things did you do that is related to this theme? Thanks for your time!

My wife and daughter made little snowflakes, flowers and dog images with iron on beads. They were very popular.
